SLBC NATIONAL CONFERENCE COVID-19 POLICY

VACCINATION & RAPID TEST REQUIREMENT

In consultation with medical experts, SLBC has established the following guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our conference participants.

Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination

SLBC will require that every participant uploads a copy of their vaccination record showing full vaccination as defined by the CDC. Participants will need to upload their vaccination record during or after registration.

*If we do not receive your proof of vaccination by January 26, (three weeks before SLBC), your in-person registration will be automatically changed to virtual registration.

Rapid Test

Per our SLBC Covid Policy, SLBC requires that every participant shows negative results from a rapid test taken within 48 hours prior to arriving at the Jewish Community Center in St. Louis on February 19, 2023. Participants are strongly encouraged to take a self-administered rapid test at home or at a local care provider before traveling to SLBC. Participants will need to share a photo of their negative result at SLBC registration. * If you have NOT taken a rapid test before arriving at SLBC, you will need to purchase a rapid test to be taken on site before entering the conference ($35 per test). If you test positive for COVID in St. Louis, you will be unable to attend in-person SLBC National Conference and will be responsible for arranging your own medical care, housing, and travel. For this reason, we highly recommend you take a rapid test within 48 hours before traveling to St. Louis to make sure you test negative. No refund will be issued. Your in-person registration will be automatically changed to virtual registration.

If You Test Positive before SLBC

If you test positive for COVID before attending SLBC and are unable to travel to St. Louis for the in-person conference, your registration will be automatically switched to SLBC virtual registration so you can experience SLBC from home while you are recovering. No refund will be issued.

If You Test Positive in St. Louis

Testing Positive within the 10 days prior to SLBC

If you test positive for COVID within 10 days of SLBC, you will not be able to attend SLBC in person until you can provide a negative COVID test. If you are unable to attend in-person, your registration will be automatically switched to SLBC virtual registration so you can experience SLBC from home while you are recovering. No refund will be issued.

Masking

SLBC National Conference in-person will be “mask optional” during all sessions.  All participants are encouraged to do what feels safe and comfortable for you.  We ask participants to provide their own masks.
